Service. Above All – 2011

Fall Shining Moments

On 10/19/2011 one of our Reno properties received a Health Department inspection and had the following results:
At a Tunica property, Emily Hardiman found a ticket folded on a machine worth $720. Emily did not hesitate and contacted her supervisor. The guest that lost it had already called security looking for it. They were so shocked and happy that someone actually turned it in. Way to go Emily!
Tanisha Baxter in Bossier City assisted in finding a guest bag. The guest was so impressed they sent a letter expressing their appreciation of the integrity of the Housekeeping and Lost and Found personnel.
Alex Sandoval and team received a great compliment at their Reno property. A recent guest said their room was "the cleanest room she has ever stayed in". A special thank you to Leticia Ponce, Luz Vilchis, and Esmeralda Chavez for their efforts.
Emily Mann, our Human Resources Manager in Branson has greatly exceeded expectations this week while onboarding employees and families that recently relocated from Puerto Rico. This group has been living in a hotel for the last month. Emily spent many hours outside of her normal work schedule helping them get housing arranged. She personally moved each family along with their children in her own car. She took each group to get their children enrolled in school and day care. She took them to get their utilities turned on. She took them grocery shopping. Emily was the friend that these families needed during this major paradigm shift in their lives. It is the time that she unselfishly gave that they will remember.
We would like to acknowledge Xochitl Rosas at our Las Vegas property. She took the initiative to show customers around since they arrived for their site inspection before the Sales Manager. She just happened to be in the area and noticed they may need assistance. She is truly a sales ambassador displaying that amazing The Service Companies service.
Thank you to the entire Scottsdale team who received a fantastic letter from the general manager. He wanted to acknowledge the continued success at the property and thank the team for a great partnership.
Thank you to Peggy Scaife at one of our Tunica properties. We received an email from a restaurant manager praising her for the assistance she provided. Peggy did not hesitate to "roll up her sleeves" and jump into something completely out of her comfort zone. She noticed a long line at the buffet and approached the manager to offer assistance. She did everything from cleaning tables, polishing silverware, passing beverage orders, etc. All we can say is, WOW!
